@Power Hello there, I didn't know for sure wherelse to turn or in which section of the site's platform to put this forward, but I felt I should; I joined 7cups last year and at first had a very good exchange with the first listener I talked to, though I realise it was a strike of luck to randomly meet somebody who could actually sympathise and understand my personal context; later last year I had a terrible experience with a listener, who was a male in his early 20s, and whom not only dismissed my unburdening, which was the very reason I seeked for a listener as I was in a vulnerable moment of deep mysery; but also, said listener kept making judgmental, shallow and downright mysogenic comments (in the likes of "women have such limited emotional intelligence") over my expressing my feelings, whilst insisint on my giving me personal information of other ways of contacting me, and kept dismissing my very fragile emotional state as a plain and superficial equation on my being immature or "too sentimental".
I know the whole platform is the product of communal effort and resources, and I know it's all produced voluntarily, yet I feel there should be some kind of general evaluation for the approval of actually apt and willing volunteer listeners.
