2 quick new ideas I just thought of right now lol.

February 12th, 2016

Don't worry they are good.

1. I am on my phone most of the time so correct me if I am wrong but when you click on forums it shows you what is popular and all that. It only shows who left the last comment but not the person who made the thread. Don't you think we could do that. I know you can browse threads and on the computer it shows who is it by. It would be nice to have a way to see if people have made threads and a quick way to find them.

2. This might sound crazy but here me out! Its not that crazy cause I know some places that do this but how about we let people make their own chat rooms. They can name it to suite their needs. Of course when they get off, the room closes. I got this idea today when a person said they are done with 1 on 1. So I thought why not 3 on 1 or 7 on 1. Lets say a person makes a room. people might know something about it or is interested to learn they can go there. I think this can work. I know im too futuristic for many of you ppl but hey its a thought.

good suggestions! we can work on that thread info for sure.

We do want to support custom or small-group chat rooms but to be perfectly honest we're still trying to figure out a safe and responsible way to host and support them...

Open to suggestion here...

I like the focused chat rooms too. Many times it gets so crowded in our current settings that it might not be very welcoming after a point. Or the opposite, it gets too quiet and people leave after a few minutes.

From my perspective, it could work like with support discussions but without being so strict with questions and a specific topic. The topic could be chosen by the people who want to be there at a certain time and a Mod/Organizer could stay and watch for things not to get too heated. Because it's tricky. These custom chat rooms may very easily get to be random social media kind of chats and that's not really what we are focused here - but we do encourage friendships, right?

Looking forward to seeing something build on this matter...
