Being censored while writing to my therapist
Hi there. My last message to my therapist has been censored due to the presence of the word s, e, x. It is a huge part of our lives and a matter that is often discussed in therapy. I understand rules around se*xting in a listener-member context and I agree with them. But therapy is different. I am already dealing with feelings of guilt and shame on that topic, being censored feels very harsh on me. My message was not inappropriate... I know you meant no harm. Please reconsider the impact this can have though.
@admaiorasemper When therapists were first added to 7 Cups this was a problem that took a very long time to fix (if I remember right). It looks like someone has recently unfixed it. This was probably just a foolish mistake, but it's not possible to be certain. Perhaps @7CupsCommunity knows.
For what it's worth, I agree with you—undermining therapy in this way is a very serious fault.
You could report it as a bug using the Support & Feedback link at the bottom of this page, but the last time I looked, that just seemed to go into an external system somewhere. It might be more effective if your therapist can report it using their contacts at 7 Cups.

Sorry I forgot to update this, everything is fine. It only happened that time. Thank you <3
@admaiorasemper
We recently removed censors from chats with therapists, so this issue should now be resolved. Thank you for reporting it!
