LA County???

Hey there! First of all, I've relocated your thread to a different sub-forum within this sub-community - to the Introductions section! I couldn't find a general questions section, so this was the closest there was. I moved it because it was previously in the badges section, and that section is reserved for forum posts that you earn a badge upon posting in them I looked up NAMI's relation to LA County, and I didn't find much that made that chapter unique in comparison to the other locations. NAMI isn't based there, as it's based out of Arlington, VA. So, I'm assuming LA County is one of the largest chapters because LA County as a whole is one of most densely populated areas in the United States. A few people that help out with this sub-community may be involved with that local chapter, and they may have accidentally re-named this sub-community to that. Does this answer your question?
