When will chat message skipping be fixed?
Hi there. I just joined the site a few days ago. I love this place, especially the community support chats. It's so great to have a place where people can work together to help each other in a friendly and safe environment.
However, the chats are unaccceptably buggy. Often times messages will fail load completely until the room is reloaded manually. This leads to confusion and the appearance of people being ignored. This happens over a range of browsers, even in the phone app.
What's the timeline for this being fixed? Who's working on it? It's really sad to see people logging off angrily because no one responded to their messages. I like being able to help people in the chatrooms but it's a real discouragement when I reload and see someone gave up because they weren't heard.
This is a solvable technology problem - when will it be solved?

Thank you so much for your kind words about Group Support, I agree, it is a lovely place and it's a shame that the recent bugs are stopping it from working its magic.
The last time I saw the problem raised, our wonderful leader GlenM said that: 'We are working on a fix for this now. Will keep you updated!' (This was on 21st July), and I have every confidence that he and his amazing developers are doing their utmost to get this fixed for us :)
Until then, submitting a bug report never hurts, but believe me, this problem has been noticed.
'kay :) all I wanted to know. Programming is hard. A week out of it's-a-known-bug-being-worked-on confirmation I can live with. Good luck, tech people!
