Hi! so i have been a listener for awhile now and i have noticed that some of the people who i have talked to months ago will message me again now. its hard to remember what we talked about but i still want them to feel like their conversation is important to me because it is. is there away that we can be allowed to scroll up on previous conversationsto refresh ourselves about the person?

thanks!!!

Oh, I can completely relate! I think they automatically delete most of the conversations for confidentiality purposes, leaving only the last ten messages. I try to do things to give myself little clues when we come back. for instance, if they've given me their name I'll say, bye____so and so" so I can at least remember that for next time. It IS hard, and with all of the sensitive topics discussed, I have had a few members get angry with me for not being able to recall the details of their life story or traumatic incident. It can be tough when there is no face and no name besides a goofy, computer-generated moniker like "strongapplefrown67" I do my best, and when that isn't good enough, I apologize and let the person know how many people I talk to.

If you are referring as well to speaking to the actual conversations and the content, you can browse by using the 'My Impact' page :)

it escapes me why us Listeners are no longerable to easily retrieve conversations older than a weeklike the way Members and guests can...
