i still havent checked out the support systems, did u sign up?

Hi! Based on my rather incomplete understanding, I think the 7cups student support system ( which you can find under organizations > support students) is a 7cups platform PERSONALIZED for your school. So the administrator of the school or something generally CREATES this sub support system. It's basically the same as the 7cups platform we're all accessing now except if you create a support system, it becomes tailored to suit your school's and its students' needs ... you can subscribe to premium features for all who have access to this version which is protected a password (if you want). If it's not password protected, you simply have to use the link to get here. Upon signing up (the basic version is free) you will be sent an email that includes this link to direct users to your school's support system on 7cups.. .. e.g I THINK , it's something in the format of https://www.7cups.com/p/nameofsupportsystem(the name that you choose for it when you sign up)

So with this support system ... there are three options you can choose to decide how students using this platform will be able to get help! They can choose a trained listener they feel comfortable with—either another student on campus (to do this, the student has to "become a listener" through the personalized student support system page and not the regular https://www.7cups.com and then become a listener. You have to use the link for your particular school's system and then sign up to be a listener ) or one of the 120,000 trained active listeners and therapists who already use 7 Cups. Or they choose simple, proven, therapeutic exercises (self help option) (For this option, your organization page will primarily focus on helping people in your organization through the Growth Path, which features easy-to-follow gratitude, positive thinking, and mindfulness exercises.No listeners will be featured on your page. Users who may want to chat with a listener will be referred off of your site to 7cups.com.)

The admin who creates the support system will also have access to the admin panel which includes a guide to how it all works, a dashboard displaying active listeners, active members, total conversations etc. (statistics basically) , and a "manage listeners" option which allows you to see all the listeners who've signed up as part of your platform. You can also turn off/on the access to the support forums and group support rooms. I think the default option is that access to these are turned on

So ... another important point ...

1. open system/ non password protected (Then anyone that knows the URL will be able to enter it into their browser and visit your system.)

2. If you password protect it ..... Then only those people that know the password will be able to access it. Youll need to give all people seeking help and your listeners this password to be able to access your system.

Also you can choose between ...

1. 7cups listeners + listeners from your school/organization

Your page will display your listeners and a button that users can click on to access 7 Cups listeners. Users will see profiles of your listeners (YOUR own listeners from your organization/school will have to sign up through your personal url and also enter the password) featured on your page. When they click on the 7 Cups listeners button, it will be clear that they are leaving your system and entering the broader 7 Cups system to connect with 7 Cups listeners. (copied from admin guide)

2. Listeners from Your Organization

Your page will display listeners you choose from your organization or your contacts. (Copied from guide) *note : these listeners will need to select the become listener option from through the student support platform for their school and also enter the password the administrator chose (and informed them of) when creating the support system ... Send these potential listeners an email to your schools support system page and ask them to click on the button at the top center that says Become a Listener. Send them the password for all listeners to enter when they sign up as part of your support system too. Once they signup and complete the training they will be listed as listeners on your student support system page. If you have opted to provide a password for your general student support system, then make sure to include it.
