Betrayal trauma induced insecurities

I got cheated on for the entirety of my relationship, and was told that the other girl was more “confident” and socially desirable among other things. Feels like my entire sense of self is shaken. How does one recover from this? To add on, I got a dysfunctional family where I’m the scape goat and I have Health issues now. I feel isolated and broken.

Dont let his words become your truth

He cheated because he wasn't a nice person and instead of taking accountability, gaslighted you.

You had a lucky escape and you deserve happiness and love with someone mature enough to give it 🩷

His actions were not about you.  He chose to cheat and disrespect you. when people cheat it is not about someone being more anything.

Cheaters say these things to mess with our self-worth and think it was because we did not measure up instead of this person not being worthy to trust by 2 girls it seems. It is hard when we do not have a support system and from someone who had a dysfunctional family. We learn to create our own support your chosen family.

Pray and ask God to give you strength. Truth is, until the hurt and betrayal leave its hard to heal without help whether spiritually or with us, we are your friends you are not alone
