Feeling like I messed up all the time

I don’t know why but usually even the smallest hung out of my comfort zone that doesn’t go entirely smoothly makes me spiral into self hate and makes me feel bad for awhile.

The smallest social interaction usually with someone I’m not familiar with , or a bad interaction with someone familiar leaves me feeling so horrible. Usually cause I didn’t say enough or I wasn’t sociable enough or I misworded things it just makes me feel so incompetent. I know being shy isn’t necessarily bad but I feel like I’m scared of people to the point that it’s unhealthy and pathetic and I feel so incapable and incompetent.

I hate that I’m often dependent on others especially in social situations

I know pushing myself out of my comfort zone and making small mistakes is what will help me overcome this but the way I feel after a little blunder makes me hesitant to keep going and try again

There's something when you've got deep empathy that makes it hurt so bad.

But You are the un-ruined one in the crowd.

I try and think of it as, other people are nervous and self conscious too but they are better at hiding it.

Nobody does or says the right thing all the time, we make blunders and that's alright.. Sometimes I just listen or I might ask questions.

I find a lot of people just like to talk and I let them but join in randomly here and there. If I do say something wrong, I try to make a joke out of it and make them laugh with me :)
