Hi guys I am new here

Please help me out I don’t know what I am doing wrong. All my friends have a boyfriend and I don’t. I fact I never had a boyfriend. No boy has ever walked up to me or complimented me. I am starting to feel really insecure and ugly. I try my best to look nice. I take care of my body, Istyle my hair and put on cute outfits. But I do struggle to have conversations with boys. I have no clue what to talk about and always feel akward and overthink myself.

How do I get a boyfriend? What do I talk about? How do I let them someone know I like them? How do I look my best? And where do I meet cute boys?

Please please please help me out. I am really lacking my confidence. I feel lonly and unwanted.

Please help.

@anoniemanoniem79 hi sweetie 💗 first of all welcome to 7 cups 💗 I've never dated anyone so I'm not the best person to talk to about these things. But I think your doing everything right, just perhaps need some help with confidence💖 boys and girls are the same, talk to them the exact same way as you would a girl. Gives you a giant tiny hug 💗 I hope you find the right support here 💖

@anoniemanoniem79 honestly speaking, I am a good-looking girl, from a well-off family but boys don't compliment or talk to me either. Yeah only one boy did talk to me and he is my first and only crush and love. Of course my decade long love is one sided and I even have dreamt of my marriage with him. That's a different story altogether. But basically, I don't feel insecure at all. I know how I am and I will marry for love, not for proving my "hotness". I think that's what you too should do but again it's your choice. I have made my advice clear.

Being an introverted guy, I always felt better alone than in a group, but that's just for me. But I feel lonely nowadays. If you can talk whatever just go for it don't stop yourself (if you are doing that), I know its hypocritical coming from a guy who has social anxiety, who is awkward and afraid to talk most of the time, but that's what i have to say, just go for it, you got this, you really can do it, and if it fails there are 7 billion people here, just relax, pat yourself for trying and keep going (again being hypocritical)

Hey there,

I feel half of building connection with someone is being genuinely curious and interested to learn about other person. Every person is like entire new world you have never seen and will never fully explore.

Sadly with internet being so big part of our lifes lof of conversations have went online and it seem much harder nowadays strike conversations in person and guys choose it to do much less often nowadays. But commonalities is great starting point, for example groups where people share passion for something and there already is something to talk about naturally.

Hope it helps.

I’m going through the same thing. I know how you feel, being surrounded by people who just attract men better. It’s a sucky feeling and like no matter what you say, you can never believe yourself when you say positive reinforcement. I just think it’s something that comes with time. Like the universe is not giving you a boyfriend right now because it wants you to work on yourself first. As in, make sure you are truly comfortable alone before getting into a relationship. It just takes time. Meeting people takes time and finding a quality man takes time. It sucks knowing that’s out of your control cause we all want to control these things and it contributes to that insecurity but meeting a good person is just something you gotta let happen when it happens
