I love your height, I wish I was taller. Have you thought about focusing on what you do like about yourself? Your strengths?

@brenbird I get it… I am also 5’6”, and around 150 lbs. It is not right that your father looks at you, though… but that is not your fault, that is him. Your body may not be perfect, but that doesn’t mean you should hate it, or that you are too much. I struggle with my body image, but every time I look in the mirror, I remind myself that every “standard” out there doesn’t truly mean anything, or I just try to step back and accept what I look like. Because, in the end, it is you who decides whether or not you are comfortable as you are, and the opinions of others doesn’t have to affect it, even though it can still play a role. You are amazing no matter what, and you are never too much.

@brenbird

This is nothing to be ashamed of my friend, I am fully grown and only 5'6 too.  It's normal to feel self conscious about things, like I was also born with undeveloped fingers and toes.  It used to eat me up, but I got used to accepting that this is who I am and this is a gift, not a burden, that now people rarely notice my fingers are only half length.  It's the same with your stature, focus on the qualities that make you unique.  The people here and more people than you think out there aren't judging for how the universe made you.
