You need yourself

Sometimes when you're alone. When there's no one around. When everything is on mute. You hear voices. Of yourself. They tell you what you want , they tell you what you need. They tell you what you're capable of, they tell you what you're scared of. So there's someone who's with you all the time. In your happiest moments Or Even in your worst nightmares. You are always with yourself. It's upto you to decide which version of you you'd let loose. You say you'll be fine if you find someone to rely on. Then what about the person who's within you and talks to you all the time? That needs you. You need yourself. No matter how many people you come across who'd make you feel heard, the one that resides in you needs only your opinion. So yeah, it matters. You being in love with yourself matters. Your soul already loves you, it's your turn to love it back.
