How to get rid of Scars?

I want to get rid of my old scars, or at least make them look less obvious, I want to feel good in my body and I don't want people asking me about something old I try not to do anymore.

I know for some people the scars are something meaningful, or a survival mark, etc, and that's amazing, it really is, but for me my scars are embarrassing, and sometimes just looking at them triggers me and I want to cut again even tho I've been clean for years.

So yeah, next year I want to get rid of my scars, so if anyone knows how can you do it without getting a tattoo please let me know, I'll appreciate it.
