@willingOrange7301 It makes a lot of sense that after such a difficult experience you’re searching for a place of support, because feeling alone can be very heavy. From the perspective of the DASBIEN Theory, recovery is closely linked to reconnecting with the three senses of love: first, allowing yourself to receive love from others, by reaching out to groups like 7 Cups or trusted people who can really offer you something good for you right now; second, practicing love toward your own being, which means giving yourself small acts of care and compassion instead of judgment, even if it’s just resting, breathing, or saying “I made it through today”; and third, gradually giving love to others, even in small ways, like listening or sharing your story, because offering something genuinely good to someone else also reinforces your own healing. Seeking a support group after an attempt is a powerful act of self-love and connection—it shows you’re trying to step back into that flow of love.   And please remember: if at any moment you feel unsafe with yourself, call your local emergency number; if you’re in the U.S., dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or if you’re outside, find international hotlines at findahelpline.com

. You deserve love, visibility, and healing.
