Can positive feedback be removed ?

I left very nice feedback for a listener prematurely. The survey came up way too soon and I filled it out straight away - had I know a few minutes later he would not only disconnect the call, not say anything even goodbye then block me, I surely would not have given that person a 5 star review with lovely words. It all came so suddenly I never expected, and certainly not a site like this - Youtube, here no. Can I remove it somehow, sadly, it is not deserved so I don't want anyone misled based on a false review.

Many thanks ! heart

Do they really still have that pop up too soon? I haven't tried a listener in a long time so I don't know. I always would just exit out of that until I'm done.

But anyway I'm not sure if there's a way to take back the review.

There also seems no option for blocking people who are rude to you that you don't necessarily wish to report but just want to say clear of to avoid trouble. Deleting your own posts seems impossible as well.

sigh .............

If I am wrong on any of these counts, please put me right.

@SHEAINTGOTNOSHOES

Only thing you could do is to memorize his username and warn others.

@SHEAINTGOTNOSHOES you can 800% block a listener without reporting them (you click the little x on the convo & don't fill out a report), and please send an email to community@7cups.com with the specifics if you wish to remove a review you've made.

@bunnypants

The person in question I believe is a member and not a listener but her tongue cuts like a knife. I mistakenly added a lovely glitter heart to her post, it was meant for someone else - she thought it was stupid and irrelevant and that bothered me. I don't do well with mean spiritedness. I wrote back saying it was meant for someone else, I apologize and that I am sorry she found no beauty in my mistake. I would like avoid issues, she may comment on a post, and I don't want my buttons pushed, though clearly I won't respond, I will not engage in cat fighting here, I am here for one reason and one reason only and that is for support for my multiple diagnosis's and to possible make a lovely friend or two. heart

@SHEAINTGOTNOSHOES i have met people like that, and it is best to let things like this slide for now.

if you notice that the behaviour continues, feel free to contact me with a specific complaint (which i thank you for not sharing usernames here), and the member will be looked into.

i would rather not get into disputes between members, however... it seems like what you are actually looking for is a way to not see certain people on the forums, isn't it? ^-^'

for the time being, i would advise you to try to get along with people you don't get along with. it is a part of recovery to accept that people have their differences and limitations and are at different points in their lives which may not be entirely compatible with our own. forgive, forget, persist, respond with love.

so maybe even though you don't care for this person, you can occasionally give them positive support and leave it to them to finish the mending between you on their end (which they won't, but still).
