Dark Mode

August 22nd, 2020

I gave feedback via email but I wanted to post it here, too, since I found out that it existed.

Please consider adding a dark mode to this website! It really helps with glare and it's much easier on the eyes, it's also a good accessibility tool and I think it would benefit a lot of users!

@LittleSoftHeart At the bottom right of this page click Accessibility. This gives you a huge range of options to make the site look better depending on your vision requirements.

Note that instead of changing all the websites you use one by one, a better approach is to use accessibility software on your computer to change everything at once. Whether this is possible depends on your computer, of course. Search the Internet for more information.

If that's not possible on your computer, you might be able to force all websites into dark mode. Whether this is possible depends on your web browser. Again, search the Internet for more information.

@RarelyCharlie

This is really helpful actually, thank you! I was also wondering if something like this could be added to the app as well? It's possible to use smart invert on the iPhone to change the website into dark mode but it doesn't actually affect the app.

@LittleSoftHeart I don't know why it doesn't affect the app. Maybe the new app, expected to be ready in a few months, will have this feature.
