Holiday Check-in Event!

The holidays can be challenging for many of us. Whether it's spending time with an unpleasant family member or worrying about being judged... it can really bring us down.

One thing that can help is the 7 Cups community. Let's make an effort this holiday season to support one another through all of the holidays up & downs.

Here is how to participate:

1) Go to your My Progress Page.

2) If you are like me, you have many listeners on your contact list! The oldest contacts are at the bottom of the list. Start at the bottom & work your way up. Find a few you'd feel comfortable reconnecting with!

3) Send them a holiday check-in message.

Sample message you could send:

"Hello XX, I can't believe the holidays are finally here. I am feeling worried about XX this holiday season. You were so kind to me in the past & I was wondering if you'd set up a time to chat with me again. Sending you a hug. Sincerely, XX"

Note: For those of you who want to participate, but are nervous about not getting a reply back from your old listener, don't worry! It's true, some listeners do come and go and may not get back to you. But that is okay. Checking back in or trying to reconnect never hurt anyone!

4) If you participate, please post in this thread and let us know! Do not list names, but list the number of past listeners you've sent a kind message to!

5) Earn the "Holiday Kindness" badge when you participate!
