Introduction & Important Information

We are excited to announce our new messaging system!

Tomorrow, Thursday, May 15 when you log into your account you will be introduced to our new and improved messaging system. This messaging system is similar to Whatsapp and Facebook messenger. It will make it easier for you to reach out to your favorite listeners.

We will use this forum category to discuss the new messaging system. We anticipate that there will be some items that need to be worked out over the next few days. We will get through this as a community and work together to continue to make 7 Cups of Tea wonderful.

Here is some important information for you to refer to:

- You will see a ?conversations? button on your dashboard that will link you to a conversation box, where you see a list of all your messages!

- There is NO end chat button. Once you make a connection with a listener, it will be recorded in your conversation box. In this conversation box, there will be a ?hide conversation? button next to each chat connection. You can use this to hide conversations that are no longer active.

- On the bottom right corner of listener chat screen below the send button you will see the following icons:

Clear conversation messages: You will be able to clear all the messages between you and that member/listener

Leave feedback & rate this listener - Rate your listener!

Block this listener button - this is your ban button

- You will have a referral resources list at the bottom of each chat screen with information on where you can get help.

Please be patient as we all adjust to this new system! This is an exciting milestone for our community and I look forward to implementing this new system.
