the censoring on here is getting stupid, anything that goes against a mod or what a mod doesnt like gets removed, anything bad about this site gets removed, for and i quote "going against the positive atmosphere of the site" thats why you dont see many negatives about this site cause they are all removed

@peacefuleagle192

Hi there. Thanks for sharing your opinion, we highly appreciate it. I am sorry that you have been seeing a lot of information get edited from the forum, we want this space to be a safe place for anyone to open up and share their opinions and views in a constructive manner. I'm not sure if you have read these yet, but we have a set guidelines, called our Community Guidelines (You can click that link for more information to read on what is and isn't allowed in the forums) that I would recommend reading over. Those guidelines are in place to protect not only you, but your peers, fellow members, listeners, and most importantly, confidentiality.

If you'd like, you can also look at this post about our community mission by Glen. -----> Our Community Mission

I hope this reaches you and you find it helpful. As always, please feel free to follow up if need be.

Take care,

Dillion

@Dillion

yes ive read this, but for example i commented on a post about the mods of this site a while back and it all got edited out because it went against the positive atmosphere of the site and ive seen a lot of this go on, it didnt break any rules, just a mod didnt like it and they use the positive atmosphere as an excuse to remove whatever they want.

@peacefuleagle192 Oh I am so sorry that happened to you. Did you happen to mention any specific names in the post? If so, the name part would have been okay to edit out, but the rest of the message should have been okay to my knowledge. Do you have the link to the post so I can take a look at it possibly?

@peacefuleagle192 - If this happens in the future and you're concerned about something that you feel shouldn't have been edited, feel free to reach out to me and I will look into it. I believe in the forums being a safe space for everyone, but I agree that we should not be editing just to keep things positive - it is absolutely alright to express complaints, issues, and concerns about the site as long as it's not a personal attack against anyone or otherwise breaking community guidelines and if forum moderators are over-censoring, I would like to know so I can help them continue to learn and grow in the role and prevent over-censorship here!

My observation: If a person voices a complaint in a respectful manner, doesn't swear, and sticks to the facts... it won't be censored or deleted

@ChromeLotus I agree. I posted in a section about issues I was having with listeners and got a good response not only from other members but also a listener. I felt heard and the issues were being looked at and resolved. I think it is good to keep the place positive but also real. I believe it is both for me right now. :)
