Oops, we broke notifications for Members!
Last night we pushed out a fix to the header to add numerals for unread notifications and messages, and to have those elements in the top bar at mobile screen sizes.
Somehow in doing so we accidentally hid notifications for Members.
We will fix this as soon as possible. (I peeked at the code but the logic was beyond me personally as a humble unicorn, and I'm sure as @EzraBC checks in again he can fix it.)
This is one reason they say not to push changes on Friday nights, as Ezra is taking some well needed r&r.
My apologies again to members. We'll fix it as fast as we can and please spread the word to anyone who is confused about this.

No. The site is set up so that anyone can initiate or request a chat with a Listener and nobody (not even admins) can initiate or request a chat with a Member.
We can always study and revisit these rules as needed but that's the way it works right now.
We encourage members to connect in group support chat rooms, in forums, and with their feeds, but we also feel that the primary purpose of 1:1 chats is for members and guests to find listeners, and we also have little to no way to keep a member or guest safe if any other member or guest could connect with them.

but on android phone..my speakers said; they cant hear notification. idk about android, this complaint from my regular speakers
