Some Emojis Corrupt In Chats

Hello,

I'm assuming messages are Encrypted and Decrypted via something like JSON when a message is sent/recieved.

Thus, some emojis will not send properly, but rather a broken hash.

For example, the Heart emoji will appear as "&#12539"

@Mapita I agree that something in the 7 Cups system corrupts some messages, although I don't think JSON could be the problem.

For a heart in a message you can use <3 (which gets turned into an image, , not an emoji character).

・ would be a dot (Katakana Middle Dot), not a heart, so whatever caused that has gone badly wrong.

We've also seen characters in the forum getting corrupted, so it seems like maybe someone who doesn't understand the encoding too well has been let loose on the system at times. Perhaps after the new app is released there will be more time to fix issues like this in the website.
