This is day 2 for me. I hated being woke up at 1:38 this morning by my cat. He licked my eyelids until I woke up. I am SO tired right now and all I want to do is sleep but because I'm a mom I can't sleep.

@Rufina77

Ohh, my dear... I am not a mum, but I do have a great one, who raised me and my two siblings up by herself, worked a full time job (as a nurse) and still was there every night (or evening if she worked Nights) to read me a good night story, up utill I was about 13. There were countless nights when she would stay awake to help us, read books about how to love and raise us, cry not knowing if we will be able to buy milk or bread, cry not knowing how to do it. She is my hero. I believe that no matter what kind of mun you are you are your kids hero, they might not say it today or ever, but know this... one day they will come back and you will just know... all these nights, where you cant sleep, where all you got were a few hours or maybe you were cranky the next day, maybe your day was horrible, you yelled at them... all these years you will go through are making them who they are. Today I live in another country. I have jobs that pay my bills, I am going back to school to get another profession on my list. Today I still call her. I still call her to cry to her. I still call her to ask her for help. To ask her about love and relationships, to ask her about life. She is still my rock. No matter where I am, she is my mum and my best friend. Today I know I am who I am because of her, her love and sacrifices she has made. Life will cahange, but you will always be their hero, their mum.

I hope this helps. To be honest we didnt have much growing up but I had a mothers love. Good luck mum!

@Serenastormus Hi! I'm new too. I have severe anxiety to the point I panic leaving my house. I wasn't always like this but since moving to a place that's 2 hrs from what I've ever known it's new and frightening. So far I met a really nice person to chat with. Hope you do too! It's nice to meet you. Remember you're always worth the effort. That's why we're all here. 😊

@Riley84. I'm new too. Not sure what to post. I'm one Day 2. I am learning to come with anxiety and panic attacks, both of which aren't fun. I'm hoping to make new friends and grow as a person.

Hello, this is my second day. I really don't know what to do in this site, but I think that it's pretty awesome. I joined because I feel alone and really sad. I moved to a new city and I live with my grandfather and his sister which are really negative and they always critizes my way of living.

It's good to let go of some bad thoughts. I must say that english is not my natal tongue, so sorry for my mistakes

@OneForSorrow

I know a thing or two about moving and living with people who get you down. (I have moved so many times in last 5 years that I lost count. Lived with people who made my day and people who would attack me at my weakest.)

What helped me is having someone to turn to when being 'attacked' or feeling alone in new place. Anyone. Even if it is friends from home or family or people here. Sometimes to help me see the truth (and not believe what people are saying about me) sometimes to not give up.

I did learn things about me through it all. Such as I have some people who love me, that I never knew, such as there are days the world is falling apart and you survive and there are days when things are ok or even good and you have to soak them in and hold on to that in bad ones. Mainly... you are stronger than you think and things do sometimes work out (sometimes you have to make them work out or move on).

Each day you keep on going is a victory. That was and stil is the main one for me. It also helps if you have something that you love in your life. (For me it is a job. It makes my day. Kids. Or sometimes a conversation with my friend/mum/bf/stranger)

My mum use to say keep going and create your happiness, you are the creator of your life. And dont forget things change, so do the best in the moment you are in. (Whatever your best now is, every day you dont give in to their negativity is a great step.)

I hope things get better! :)

Unlike everyone else, who seems to have super long streaks, I'm only on day two. I haven't come far, but I'm going to keep the streak as long as possible.

I am so stuck on "two things you did well in the last few days". The massive panic attack last night is not going to help. There will be a streak soon. I know it.

@Kasuldi You can always hit the little button that says you want to try something different. Then it will let you select what you'd like to do instead. I do that a lot when I hit the one that says to share two things done well. hehehe wink
