i think it was much better when members couldn't have pictures
this whole having a face thing seems to get in the way of the point of the website. honestly, i think it would much better serve this site if it were against the rules for anyone to use a picture of themselves. what's best for the growth of the site is not necessarily best for the growth of the people using the site. & i get that you want to, sorta, try to "touch" as many people as you can? but, idk, i think it'd be better if you "touched" the people you "touch" in the right way rather than acting as some sort of e-prostitute that makes everyone feel cheap & dirty. :(
@hugglecat - Thank you for the feedback - I can definitely understand why it might not always feel great to have the pictures there, but I think for some people, it makes it feel more human and lets people share a bit of their personality in their profile
@Anomalia drunken kitty rants are best but we do not need to terrify me by necroing old threads ^-^
