Eid Mubarak 2022!
As-salamu alaykum, I hope everyone is doing well. For those who practice Ramadan, I hope you were able to make the most of the opportunity. I am writing this post to wish Eid Mubarak/Happy Eid to all those who are celebrating. Eid is either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Today is the eve of Eid when some Muslims like to do their last-minute shopping and wish each other a happy Eid
For those unaware of what Eid is, Muslims end the month of Ramadan with a celebration called ‘Eid al-Fitr’ which literally translates to feast/festival in the Arabic language. Read more about Eid here. You can find more information on Ramadan here. This Eid is especially important for a lot of Muslims as the covid situation seems to have improved in many places and people are able to come together to celebrate this occasion which was not possible for the past two years.
Even if you are not celebrating Eid, you are welcome to wish your Muslim friends/Community listeners/members ‘Eid Mubarak’. Those who are celebrating, share with us what are you most looking forward to this Eid.
What are you most looking forward to on Eid?
What is one food that is a must-have for Eid in your culture?
