Android App is Here!
All, I'm very happy to announce that our Android app is now available! You can find it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sevencupsoftea.app. If you search for "7 Cups of Tea" in the Google Play store you can also find it, but you have to look down the page a bit because itwas justreleased this morning and there are many apps ahead of it. That'll change very soon as our downloads climb.
Please report bugs or other problems here. We'll address the issues quickly to keep improving it.
Finally, if you review the app in the google play store (ratings and text based review), then please post here and we'll award you the Listener on the Gobadge! (I'mnot sure of thename for this badge. @Heather came up with iListen for the iPhone. If we like Listener on the Go we can keep it; if you have a better badge name, then please post it here and we can go with that one).Reviews are important because they help us reach more people. The more reviews we get the higher we climb for keywords that people search for when looking for help.
Happy Holidays everyone! : )
I'm so glad that the app is here! I can finally connect with others and help expand this wonderful community.
Hi. I downloaded it and have been working from it since then. It makes things easier as we can be readily available for personal requests and reply to the users, thus making their and our experience more timely and hassle-free. I like the struture of the app, but there are certain things which I might appreciate more. One, it takes too long to load the chats at times which can be problematic in replying while conversing. Two, if there was a way to fix the sound alerts so that we can know if there is a personal request or if someone else is pinging us while we are in a converstaion. Yes it flashes on the screen but that is often missed as our entire attention is on the chat, so a sound alert will be great. Three, if there was a way to know how we were doing, like 'the impact' option on our listener dashboard, by seeing our reviews then we can be more motivated and work to rectify if needed. Four, the certification option to help us know what more do we need to acquire to get the link to download the certificates after completing the levels. This way it can be the perfect alternative for the website and help listeners (who mostly operate through their smartphones and seldom sit before the desktop) to be in the perfect zone. If these issues could be addressed then there would be nothing better as the app is already working well.
