Study Tips

February 6th, 2023

Dear Readers,

So, these are the study tips for this week-

1. Here is some advice for you- Finish the syllabus in 2 weeks before exams. In these two weeks, prepare tests for yourself, solve previous years' questions, revise and get ready.

2. When doing a topic, make a separate notebook or write in your book itself the questions you make (from the paragraphs). Only questions, and do active recall.

3. Now, what is active recall? We have all seen this on various websites and platforms. In active recall, you force your brain to work harder and take the information out of the brain. (like speaking the answers out loud or writing) Based on my experience, write and say out loud, don't just speak your answers; also, write because it helps to retain information better.

I hope these help. Bye and good luck!

Thankyou for sharing these useful tips, Tae! Reading things aloud and writing them down does help in memorizing better, specially if the topic is complicated or has various sub-topics. 💛

Dear Readers,

This is a tip, I personally use when I don't have enough time-

First, select one topic that you have to learn in a given period of time. Start a timer for the given period of time (decided by you) and try to learn this topic before the timer stops.

Why does this approach help? Tell me in the replies, did it help and if so why didn't it help or why did this trick help?
