Hey @sohamsaha,

I'm sorry to hear your are struggling with maths. For me, I started to see my grades improve the more I practiced, its important to have a strong foundation of the basics. Once you have completed one question the other questions follow a similar pattern just with different numbers. I would recommend having a huge bank of questions and try doing a few a day, also Youtube tutorials for certain topics!

I understand how hard it is at the start, but I believe you can do this! Continue to power through and you will see the benefits soon! If you have any questions or topics you deeply struggle with, we are happy to try and help you in any way possible. You got this!

@LlamaLizz

I know many of us scared of maths in schooling days and yeah sometimes now i get feeling that all maths problems in text books never came to my life and in my job as well but at last to check my payslip calculations maths required. then i understand that the hard work i did to get mathematics results saved me in all aspects of running life.

Hi @sohamsaha

I understand what you are going through, we have all been students once.

I understand that sometimes it is difficult but the important thing is that you do not give up.

Perhaps, and I leave it as a suggestion, you should watch video tutorials or have some extra help.

If you need something related to the topic let me know.

Greetings, I wish you the best.

Unfortunately with Math, it's all about practice. The more you do each type of equation, the better you'll get at it. It would help to understand the concept of each formula, that way, the difference of questions will only be the numbers. I had never been good at Math either, but I know practice questions do help. Just practice as much as you can with all the different kinds of equations/formulas, and you'll be fine~

Maths can be a complicated subject to be honest but it's all a matter of trying and practicing. it's always easy to give up but giving up should not be an option in maths. I believe in you i know you got this #YOU GOT THIS!!

@sohamsaha Hello, I've tutored some people in Math and what I find is that a lot of kids are better at it than they expect but have a lot of anxiety about it so, first, I'd advice you to keep calm and clear-headed. A lot of people say you need a lot of practice, sometimes that's true. It can be helpful cause getting familiar with the work will help you feel more confident but it's not gonna take a gargantuan effort if you just think it through as clearly and intelligently as you can. Math can be a lot of fun. Take the pressure of yourself. Look at the problem, attempt to answer it and when you make a mistake (notice I said 'when' not 'if' because making errors is an important part of learning) just compare from the correct solution and see where you made a mistake. Some good YouTube channels on Math are by the name of Professor Leonard and the Math Sorcerer. I hope this helps and would love an update on how you are doing.

Hi @sohamsaha I'm sad to hear you're struggling. I'm unsure what your situation is like and I hope you're able to get the support you need.

I had a similar situation in high-school where my maths mark was going down due to me not understanding anything... However my calculus and functions teacher was extremely supportive. I would ask her for some 1 on 1 time during free periods, lunch time, office hours, etc... and we would make a list of steps for me to follow for each type of question. Although this didn't give me the answers to everything, it really helped me with directing my work and organizing my ideas.

I hope you can find someone in your social circle or at your school who can help you out in a way that can help you!

Good Luck!
