Tackling Confusion

Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well.

Student support usually incorporates tips on tackling exams, mental health issues, friendships and more. Today I thought I'd mention CONFUSION.

As a student (and of course, any age) it is very normal to experience moments of confusion. A flow chart (shown below) depicts this constant cycle. It is no doubt difficult to deal with this, but instead of avoiding it, it may be a good idea to learn how to come to terms with it.
See below:

Now, this may not be the same for everyone, but it certainly has this sort of trend. Understanding that confusion leads to progression gives you a whole new outlook on the work you are doing. Mistakes may be made along the way, but mistakes are made to be learned from. Not all of us particularly learn straight from mistakes, but a lot of us do. Confusion is paired with mistakes, as progression leads to results.

Cross-examining your negative thoughts (on confusion) allows you to interpret a sense of mind-control. The more you can positively assess your situation, you will be in control!

Hope this helps!
