Having a hard coping
I just found out that failed a class I took this last term big time even so I worked hard.
I feel total disappointed and upset.
what best way to cope when u fail a class
@Reachforthestars00
I'm so sorry you failed 🥺
It can be tough.
Especially when you tried!
But you did try and that is what matters the most, one failure doesn't define you 💚

I am really sorry you are going through this. Failing a class can feel very upsetting, especially when you know you put in real effort. Feeling disappointed after something like this is completely understandable.
One class or one term does not define your ability or your future. Sometimes results do not reflect how hard someone worked, and that can be very discouraging. Giving yourself permission to feel upset first can be an important part of coping, rather than trying to push those feelings away.
Many people find it helpful to take a little time to rest and regain emotional balance before thinking about next steps. Talking with someone you trust, reflecting on what was difficult about the class, or reminding yourself of past challenges you have overcome can also help put this experience into perspective.
You are not alone in this, and many people here understand how painful academic setbacks can feel. Thank you for sharing, and be kind to yourself while you process this.

Oh my gosh, I know exactly how you feel! I remember back in the day, I failed one subject like 2 times before passing it the third time with minimum percentage. I didn't understand why I failed either, I did study, and did a lot of practice questions (it was for Math). I felt like I got the right answers when I did the final exam, and yet, I ended up failing. I was confused and devastated for each failed attempt, but I really needed to pass it. I honestly felt my teacher then, passed me on the third attempt based on my effort, and not really the marks.
As the others have said, failing one course doesn't define who you are, and it surely doesn't mean that your academics is not good. You will feel the disappointment for a while, but know that it was the effort that counts. At least you've tried your best. If you're needing to retake the course, maybe try and use different approach to studying for the subject. I find that sometimes we might've used the wrong learning style, so when we're studying for tests, the information doesn't get retained.
