I'm new here in this group and I'm cardae cerra and I'm 18 years old and I just wanted to tell you all that I've failed grade 10 this year and I'm repeating it again 💔 and it's really not nice and my holidays really sucks and it's really not nice and I would use a friendly person who admit they way how embarrassing I am and everything

I can understand how disheartening it feels to find out you did not pass a grade level, and how it can make holidays feel less joyous.
Though the act of failing can feel embarrassing, the experience itself does not redefine the person as embarrassing. There is more to people than their ability to pass a grade.
It takes courage to open up about academic struggles and seek support. This kind of strength is admirable.

Thank you for being brave enough to talk about this. Failing a grade and repeating it can feel really heavy and overwhelming, and it’s okay, it's safe to admit that it hurts. You're emotions are valid.
But know that repeating a grade does not define your worth nor your future. So many people go through struggles like this . You’re not alone even if it feels like that right now.

You are not embarrassing. Failure does not define you, nor will it ever. Repeating a grade can be frustrating and difficult, but I have no doubts you will pass and learn from this!

also thats more time for you to do other things.
i had to redo a year thrice and it sucked but i now know more about the world and myself than most of my classmates combined.
so dont let this get you down

Hey, I’m really glad you shared here. Failing a grade can feel really embarrassing and heavy, but it doesn’t mean you’re a failure as a person. A lot of people repeat a year at some point and still go on to do really well later. You’re not alone in this, and you still deserve kindness and support.
