I’m tired of living with an alcoholic
I’m tired of watching someone change in a matter of minutes, becoming someone I don’t know.
I’m tired of going through the same arguments- the ones that I can’t get away from because the alcohol fuels them and there is no reasoning that I can provide, no answer that is the right answer.
I’m tired of watching my loved one go through this.
@thoughtfulmomma sometimes the best thing you can do in this situation is leave, I know that's not a easy option, but it's the best way to help both of you 💗 remember you don't have to put up with this, you deerve to feel safe in your own home, gives you a giant tiny hug 💗 we are all here for you 💗

That kind of exhaustion runs deep—the kind that doesn't just wear out your body, but your heart too. Loving someone who struggles with alcohol is like riding waves you didn’t choose to be in… calm one minute, chaos the next. It’s painful to watch someone you care about change so quickly and feel powerless to stop it. Your feelings are valid, and you’re not wrong for being tired. Just remember: it’s okay to care deeply and still protect your peace. You’re allowed to set boundaries and prioritize your emotional safety too.
Much love,
