Ride the Wave 🌊 – You Are Stronger Than the Craving💪🏻💕
Cravings don’t last forever. They come in waves—rising, peaking, and then fading away. The key is to ride the wave instead of letting it pull you under.
When you feel that pull, try this instead:
🌊 Acknowledge It – Say it out loud: “I’m having a craving, but it will pass.” The more you fight it, the stronger it feels. Accept it, and take control.
🌿 Distract Yourself – Cravings lose power when you shift your focus. Go for a walk, blast your favorite song, start a project—do anything to keep your mind busy.
🧘♂️ Breathe Through It – Take deep breaths: In for 4 seconds, hold for 4, out for 4. Repeat. Let the tension leave your body.
📖 Reframe Your Thoughts – Instead of “I need to use,” tell yourself, “I need to take care of myself.” Instead of “I can’t do this,” say “I am stronger than this moment.”
📞 Reach Out – Call someone who understands. Say what you’re feeling instead of letting it fester. You are not alone.
⏳ Give It Time – Cravings usually peak within 15-30 minutes. Set a timer and challenge yourself to do something healthy until it passes. You’ll be amazed at your own strength.
You don’t have to act on every craving. Let it rise, let it fall, and keep moving forward. You are in control. You are stronger than this. You are worth the fight. 💙

Can vouch for "giving it time" and riding the wave, it's difficult at times, but so much worth it!
Wonderful tips, Kayla! 💛
