You’re Still Standing – And That Means Something 💪🏻

Hey family,

I just want to take a moment to remind you of something you might not hear enough: You’re doing better than you think. Whether you’re 1 day sober or 10 years clean, you’ve already survived things that were meant to destroy you. That’s not weakness—that’s warrior strength.

Here are some quotes that have helped me on the tough days, and I hope they speak to your heart too:

“Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.” – J.K. Rowling

Sometimes hitting our lowest point is what sets us free. It’s not the end—it’s the beginning.

“You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Even if the road ahead feels overwhelming, just focus on the next right thing. One step. One moment. That’s enough.

“Recovery is not for people who need it. It’s for people who want it.”

You’ve got to want this more than you want the temporary escape. Want it enough to fight for it.

“Your worst day in recovery is still better than your best day in addiction.”

The pain of growth is far better than the pain of destruction. Don’t forget that.

“I am not what I’ve done. I am what I choose to become.” – Carl Jung

You are not your mistakes. You are your comeback. You are your healing.

If today feels heavy, breathe. Don’t let one hard moment convince you you’ve lost everything you’ve worked for. You haven’t. You’re still here. You’re still fighting. And that matters.

Drop your favorite recovery quotes below if you have any—or just let us know how you’re doing. This community is stronger when we lift each other up.

Keep going. You’ve got this.

One day at a time. One choice at a time. One breath at a time.

We believe in you.

Much love,

Kayla 💕♥️✨

Here is another quote I really love! 💕

"We sometimes motivate ourselves by envisioning who we aspire to become, and other times, we find motivation in the thought of who we never want to be again."

–Shane Niemeyer

This quote hits deep. It's such a powerful reminder that growth can come from both hope and pain—dreaming of a better future and remembering the parts of ourselves we’ve fought so hard to leave behind. Both can fuel the fire to keep going, especially in recovery. Sometimes it’s not about having it all figured out—it’s just about not going back.
