Borderline personality disorder how do you deal with it..
I see a psychologist fortnightly and am on medication. I'm a young working mum and just sick of feeling like crap all the time. I'm sick of being triggered by this so easily. I wish my mind would just stay happy all the time
Medication changes your brain chemistry. Just keep that in mind. It's not always as innocent, in my experience. And.. It's okay how you feel. Don't blame yourself for it. You are doing the best you can. You can't help how you feel. I wish you well and a peaceful mind. Also, it's amazing that you can work and be a mum. Keep going. You are doing so well.
@annon1819 I just looked up the official guidelines here in the UK, to answer a question in another thread. There's no medication recommended for BPD. Maybe you're taking medication for something else?
In a severe case like yours, the recommended treatment is intensive, it involves a team of professionals, and it lasts a year or more. Seeing a psychologist fortnightly doesn't sound intensive, and it doesn't sound like a team.
Maybe you can ask your psychologist about what benefit you're getting from your medication, and whether more intensive therapy might be a good idea.

@annon1819 Being a working parent isn't easy, neither is having a personality disorder! You're amazing for being able to do both at the same time. I'm sorry to hear about yoru struggles. I would suggest asking your healthcare provider (therapist or doctor) about DBT therapy if that is an option for you. If you cannot get professional DBT therapy, I would suggest taking a look at some free DBT self-help resources or buying a copy for a DBT workbook.
