How Long have to stayed away from the choice of your drug voluntarily? How has been your Journey during it?
I have stayed nearly 14 years away from alchohol. Its been good and bad somedays. Somedays i feel one peg wont harm me. The rest i try to fill my mind with hate about booze. Its not easy. The Key is to be afraid of the life you will get if you relapse. I think what do you think?

I appreciate you sharing your experience, Rustic. Can understand how there's both good and bad days in one's recovery but yay for keeping on going, and believing in yourself. Super proud of you for coming this far. One day at a time indeed, you're doing so well. ❤
@TheRusticMystic74 Congratulations to you! Longest I’ve ever made it has been a day. It’s a struggle indeed. Fear won’t keep me from using, I’m a better when I use not worse.
Meth, Heroin, Coke, Xanax,pain killers anything I could get my hands on. It's been 3 years. I'm going through a really rough patch and it's getting harder to remember the cost of benefits at this time. Today was particularly hard. Someone actually questioned my sobriety because of my anxiety. It did not help. Sorry for the rant, I'm just really poorly at the moment.
@tinyamazon
No need to apologize for sharing. We all need a safe place to let out our thoughts and feelings. ❤ I'm sorry things are rough for you, but yay on trying and doing your best. Super proud of you for reaching out for support in cups.
I had 2 years opiates free once but then went to my usual trap house to pick up blow and my "buddy" gave me a shot of heroin thinking I would appreciate it (didn't know I was sober "anyway I did appreciate it until [removed[

Currently only 2 days from cocaine. Fell prey to my addiction again, through a "friend" I was trying to help.. helped myself realize I need far more space from it before I can truly try.. longest in general though.. 12 years if we count my initial use, if we count from actual addiction though, haven't surpassed 8 months.. but that was 3 runs of 8 months in the entirety.. recovering again now though, and hope to stay clean for good.
Iv been sober about a week but that is only because I am so poor. I'm. Primarily addicted to opiates, then valium, Xanax, coke, crack
@Shelby1997
Hi shelby, you are worth it. No matter the reason for it, A week is deff an accomplishment. Thank you for sharing<3
10 years off meth, 500 days off weed, 4 months off alcohol, 108 Hours off nicotine.
@Terraforming
Yay! that is so amazing!<3
i haven’t done it yet, I know I have too but this is only my first night on this app, since 15 I smoked pot and started doing party drugs, coke and prescription’s, I overdosed at a family camping trip I took to many Xanax’s and was drinking heaps so I swore I’d slow down, this last year has killed me a bit though and as of a couple months ago I started using ice, I haven’t been sober in weeks I just stay up most nights and work it makes me feel in control again, but I know I’m going down hill quick and need to do something, I’m two days since my last sleep even now, I’m only 22
@TheRusticMystic74
Thank you for sharing your experience, you are a strong individual, and I'm sure it cannot be easy, to have to go through positive and then negative emotions on the subject, 14 years is an accomplishment, and you are worth it<3
I have been clean from my drug of choice for 1year & 10 months
I have been off methadone for 9 months.
I am proud of myself for accomplishing this but so scared that I might relapse I try my best every day to work on repairing the damage I made during my active addiction.
I still feel withdrawals some days
It honestly has been one of the hardest things I have ever accomplished💜
Try suboxone if you ever God forbid need more help getting and staying off. Fr it was the difference between night and day for me
I think relapse is a critical part of recovery. I didn't stop using my primary addiction aka opiates until the 6th or 8th time I tried.
