Day 13: Sad and Hopeful at the Same Time (Psalm 6)

day-13_1793117250.jpg

In Psalm 6, the psalmist is worn out from groaning and floods his bed with tears. Yet he is confident that the Lord has heard his weeping and accepts his prayer. Today's step invited us to bring our whole selves to God, holding sadness and hope together.

Community discussion question:

Like the psalmist, have you ever been deeply sad yet hopeful at the same time? How does knowing that God hears you (9) bring hope in hard times?

Share your reflections in the replies below. Whether you post a few words, a prayer, or simply read what others share, you are welcome here. Please be kind and supportive of one another.

@SoulfullyAButterfly

Yes.

In my grief I'm felt sad.

With my parents health I've cried daily.

But I always hold firm to the belief that God is with me through it all 💛
