Day 1: Pouring Out Your Complaint (Psalm 142)

day-1_1793101967.jpg

In Psalm 142, the psalmist cries aloud to God and pours out his complaint. He feels alone, with no one at his right hand, yet he calls the Lord his refuge. Today's step invited us to voice our own complaints, fears, and frustrations, trusting that God hears us.

Community discussion question:

Have you ever felt that no one is around to help you or that no one really cares (4)? Does crying out to the Lord as your refuge make you feel less trapped or more free?

Share your reflections in the replies below. Whether you post a few words, a prayer, or simply read what others share, you are welcome here. Please be kind and supportive of one another.

@SoulfullyAButterfly

It makes me feel more free crying out to the Lord.
