Day 7: My God, Why Have You Forsaken Me? (Psalm 22)

day-7_1793108262.jpg

Psalm 22 begins with the cry Jesus prayed from the cross: my God, my God, why have you forsaken me? It moves between deep anguish and remembering God's faithfulness, and ends with confidence that God has done it. Today's step invited us to be as honest with God as Jesus was.

Community discussion question:

What do you find harder to express to God: feelings of forsakenness, or confidence in future deliverance? Why do you think that is?

Share your reflections in the replies below. Whether you post a few words, a prayer, or simply read what others share, you are welcome here. Please be kind and supportive of one another.

@SoulfullyAButterfly

I find it harder to express doubt.

Fear.

Disbelief.

You can feel not good enough.

Not faithful enough

Not humble enough 😔💛
