Day 11: With Jesus at the Trials by Religious Leaders

day-11_1793192449.png

Jesus is put on trial by the religious leaders, falsely accused, condemned for telling the truth about who he is, and then struck and mocked. Today's step invited us to stay with Jesus in his unjust suffering and to connect it with times we've been falsely accused or betrayed.

Community discussion question:

Have you faced falsehoods, accusations, or misunderstandings in your difficulties, or been neglected or betrayed by people you thought you could trust? How might your experiences resonate with what Jesus endured?

Share your reflections in the replies below. Whether you post a few words, a prayer, or simply read what others share, you are welcome here. Please be kind and supportive of one another.

This post is part of the 20 Days with Jesus in His Suffering growth path on 7 Cups.

Yes

This has happened recently and it's worse because you can't defend yourself because theres nothing to defend yourself against.

It's all consuming.

It's reassuring to know Jesus walks with me.

Makes the journey less confronting 💛
