Day 15: With Jesus as He Is Beaten and Mocked
The Roman soldiers strip Jesus, dress him in a scarlet robe and a crown of thorns, and mock him as king before leading him away to be crucified. Today's step invited us to stay with Jesus in his humiliation and pain.

I was physically beaten many times 😔
And the terror is hard to explain when people haven't experienced it.
It brings pain.
Shame.
Hurt
Guilt
Fear.
Anxiety.
Isolation.
Worthlessness.
Despair
I understand how Jesus felt all alone on that Cross 💛
