Day 17: With Jesus as Soldiers Divide His Clothing

As Jesus hangs on the cross, soldiers cast lots for his clothing, and passersby, religious leaders, and even the men crucified beside him heap insults on him. Today's step invited us to stay with Jesus as he loses everything at his lowest moment.
Community discussion question:
What losses have you experienced when you were already down? How might your own experiences help you feel what Jesus might have felt?

I often think how embarrassed Jesus would have felt.
Exposed
Seen by all
Ridiculed.
If it were happening to someone else, Jesus would be front and centre speaking out, so I ask myself, do I speak out when I witness disrespect?
Bullying?
Violence?
Sexism?
Racism?
Religious or sexual discrimination?
If I met Jesus today , could I stand before Him and be proud of my conduct?
