Day 19: With Jesus at His Death

As darkness covers the land, Jesus cries out the words of Psalm 22, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" and then commits his spirit into the Father's hands. Today's step invited us to stay with Jesus at his death.

Grief has hit me hard over the years 💛
The unexpectedness of it.
The tragedy.
The pain.
I understand what it's like to feel like you cannot go on another day and it's Jesus carrying His Cross that keeps me going and remembering Simon of Simeon and Veronica helped Him along the way and I try to be that support when I can 💛
