Learning through Testimony

Hi all, I’m relatively new to 7 cups but have been recently struggling with doubt in my faith. I was curious to hear from some of you why you decided to give your life to Christ ❤️

@sincereHemlock6343 hello👋 just read your post and wanted to share my side on that part.

well, i can say that i've grown up attending church regularly, and actively participating in all activities. but as i grew up, i realize that i was only going to church because of practices and my faith was not yet rooted to Christ. Until, I've failed many times in life, in decisions, I've wasted many years being away and lost, but one thing I've seen and deeply pondered- God have blessed me with protection and grace. In my nothingness, i felt enough; in my failures, i've learned and still have strength to stand up; in my loneliness, i found hope; and everything was UNEXPLAINABLE and UNSPEAKABLE. And I've recalled something from my childhood the song and story of "footprints in the sand", where in our nothingness, failures, loneliness, etc. God was there and always there carrying us, and the thought that the footprints were "ours" were NOT but from God carrying all the way, it is just us focusing away from Him. And that was the time in my life, I've totally surrendered my life in Christ- there's blessed assurance of salvation and life awaiting for us in the paradise. From that moment, praying and meditating His words are my first thing before my day.

Woahh, that was long, I hope I shared it clearly☺️

@YeeCafechino I hope that I can get to this point. I have been yearning for a while to get right with God.

@sincereHemlock6343 Hi! For me, while I grew up in church my whole life and had even prayed the sinners prayer when I was like 4,  the begining of my senior year in high school, I realized how broken I was, including/especially by my own sin, that I truly needed a savior, and that somehow, even after what I was ashamed of, he still loved me and wanted me to come to him, and that he offered forgiveness and love and hope.
