Friends and I dealing with a narcissistic abuse

A few friends and I have been dealing with an autism "Support group" in which the members of the board are incredibly toxic. The president on their board has overt traits and bullies anyone who appears to stand out in his group. He also tends to lie, slander, and defame anyone who doesn't give him his supply.

While, I have gone no contact with him, another good friend of mine continues to have problems with him. They enjoy picking fights with friend, who is very outspoken. In fact, my friend got into a big fight with them at a meet a virtual meet-up, which was used against my friend to kick him out of the group.

Honestly, I am fed up with this person and his flying monkeys getting away with their nasty tactics. I am just about ready to get ahold of the leaders of the support group and explain the history with this guy. That said, I know it could backfire. I also know I can't confront this person because he will blame shift me. I also know he could hurt me other ways.

What are your suggestions?

@Summershy I am sorry your friend got expelled from the group. That is the risk that is taken when confronting people with strong opinions.

My experience is non reaction works best. They think they are winning and I am not stressed out by arguing with them and in my mind.

Following the breath helps me not react. I also sleep on things over night before proceding. Shooting from the hip so to speak is my worst nightmare. Better to be called slow than step on a bear trap.

Ok because there are a lot of people in my networks and friends who are well aware of this guy and his issues. That said, I have not seen anyone set and firm boundaries with him. Rather, my friend got harshly attacked by the leaders of this group. I just think it was unfair of them to pull that.
