How to cope up?
I just lost my grandma last april and I couldn't bear the pain and what's more devastating is my grandpa died a few months after. I don't know what to do and how to cope up with everything that's happened. I hope anyone helps.
@ohsobear oh no that sounds so difficult to lose both grandparents so near to each other. It sounds like it is very disruptive to your life.

@ohsobear We never seem to know how to cope when these types of things happen, and I'm definitely not an expert. I do know, however, that having expectations of ourselves is very trying. Maybe you could get lost in doing something creative.
Most of what we do either diverts us from our grief or momentarily suspends it. We eventually have to face our emotions, but it doesn't have to be right away or all at once. It's only important that we eventually come to some closure, which will lead us to those intense feelings we don't want to have. We can take our time getting there, is all. We should try not to avoid it completely.
I don't know what your grieving style is, so that is somewhat up to your choice, as well. I wish you the best and much-needed relief at the end our your journey. Take care and remember to have faith in yourself to overcome.
