I’ve heard it over and over that she would tell me what I was becoming but I never listened and that everything was an argument so I never fixed the problem. Me. I need help becoming who I really am, this time my wife has really had enough and all i could do so far and find my way into drugs and alcohol. I am keeping a job but at this rate I don’t know how much longer. Im not doing so great mentally. I sleep in my truck and it kills me more and more when I go to our home when she leaves for work. To spend some time each day with our sons and then I disappear and I am nothing again. I’m lost and don’t know what I’m doing anymore. I’ve realized Of all the things I actually did to get to this point after it’s too late. I have a lot to fix. Where do I start?

@omaravalos702

You seem to be in great pain and feel lost. Have you considered to get guided help? Therapy can be incredibly beneficial. It can help you to understand yourself better and improve your relationships and to learn new coping skills. It can help you to find new ways of thinking which will change your behavior and likely the outcomes that happen in your life.

@omaravalos702 I am sorry you are having challenges with your wife and have resorted to intoxicants to solve the problems. The first thing to start is to make a strong commitment to get clean of drugs and alcohol. Maybe AA or NA narcotics anonymous could help.

If you are working how about figuring a way that you can rent a room somewhere and start eating good meals. Just sleeping in a bed could be a help.

Getting a therapist to help you sort things out could be an important first step.

Hope you get the support you are looking for.

This is many days after you posted but I just want to tell you that you are brave and strong to admit that you are going through issues now and you need help. My husband is going through the same things and you have made me realise the struggle and that both of you do not want the situation to be this bad and that you need all the help now. If anything, you have helped me to realise this. Thank you and I hope u are in a better place in your recovery
