Planning Your Daily Work

Sometimes life can become overwhelming with large projects and tasks. This can cause the projects to go unfinished and, in some cases, never even started. The result is that we often feel stressed, frustrated and often lose our motivation. However, there are some steps we can take to prevent this from happening.
Instead of looking at a project as one big complete task, it can be much less stressful to look at it in steps. For example, if you are going to clean your house, make a plan of what to do first in the day. Start with making the beds; do the living room, dust and vacuum. The key is to focus on one task of the plan and finish it. Don't worry about any steps other than the one you are currently working on.
Often stress is created by not focusing on one task, but getting distracted by another task and at the end nothing gets completed. This can lead to anxiety and feeling lost. Something that helps me when things feel to bulk up is telling myself “One thing at a time.”

Creating structure in our days can help to reduce stress. Systems to help give our daily routines a structure and organisation, such as having to-do-lists are very beneficial for most people.
Mental challenges can make it difficult to organize a day in a way that stress is kept at bay and one feels lost or suffers from regular burn-out. Please reach out to your doctor if you feel you’re currently in such a situation.
If you might find it helpful to discuss your situation regularly with a 7cups online therapist, there is a paid option. More info here https://www.7cups.com/online-therapy/?ob=1

Okay 👍
@amiablePeace77 When I am feeling overwhelmed, it really helps to have a list that I can cross off after I've finished a task. It helps my brain to see that I've "completed" something and the list gets smaller in a way. When I start to become too flustered, I tell myself to just breathe and it helps me take a moment to actually breathe and calm myself down!
@amiablePeace77 I have a planner that I write in each week. Certain days have certain chores that get done and what bills get paid. I add to a day anything that might just need done - like vacuuming lol!
I do have to tell myself there's no need to rush - it's ok to take my time and I pay attention to my breathing or I'll start to panic I'm late or running behind
@mytwistedsoul
Good to keep track of bills which need to be paid, it can save a lot of discomfort! I like that you accept the situation of running late, it can happen sometimes, so staying calm does helps and does not make it worse like when one starts to rush and then unexpected things happen which could have been avoided.
