Remember the good things in life
When I had to go through a rough time in my life and I felt very lonely and rejected, something wonderful happened. A little girl approached me and started to chat, she was very sweet. After a short while she asked "How shall I call you" and before I could give an answer her granny who was with her replied: "You can call her sister". I was overwhelmed with emotions, felt so grateful and it was hard for me to keep my tears back. I felt very touched by the kindness and acceptance her grandma showed me.
What is the most touching thing you ever heard someone say to you?
How did it make you feel?
Most people go through periods in their lives when they feel down, but for some people it does not end after a short time. When you're depressed and you feel persistently sad for weeks or months, rather than just a few days please reach out for help.

I'm so sorry about the rough time you faced, the feeling of loneliness is really bad. I'm glad that you got to experience this beautiful moment, this is really beautiful and overwhelming. Both the Grandma and the child are the sweetest. ❤️
for me it gets overwhelming and emotional I get some words of comfort when I’m sad, or when someone is truly interested to become my friend or is genuinely interested in trying to understand and get to know me, or when someone remembers a little detail about me or notices something about me or if someone told me that they missed me or were thinking about me. (None of these happened to me IRL)

Most of the good things I heard happened here on 7cups and I'm always amazed how supportive some people are. I hope you will have or get this feeling too and also meet some people irl who will show you that they really care. ❤️
That’s like really nice 🌸 there's no doubt that I found the people here super compassionate, kind and supportive. Thank you so much and I hope so too ✨

My experience was almost the same. I met this 14 year old teen who has condition. She looks normal and yet her father told me that her mind is of 2-year old due to a epilepsy. She smiled at me and I smiled back. She would point at the wheelchair and she calls me Big Sister. It as sweet to hear somebody call me Big Sister and look up to me to tell her what a wheelchair is.
2nd would be is when people tell me your a nice person with a kind heart. I never see myself as that type of person. I see myself as the opposite. Cause of things I had done and regretted. Though I know my responsibility and I do care but I still don't see myself as a kind hearted one. Hehe.
Amazing how small little things move us this way. When we put ourselves out there, just give ourselves openly, we encounter more of these small little miracles. I think that's just how the world works. I hope we recognize them when they do happen.
