I think social media brings people together as a collective of sorts but I fear it also affects our offline lives negatively. 🌲

Yes. Social Media can be tricky like that. It can influence us showing us content that only align with our pre-existing opinions or an opinion the influencers want us to adopt. Thereby, enforcing a sense of bias.

I believe social media allows us to share certain things we wouldn’t share with our family or friends or whoever bc some people don’t care if they’re judged on the internet by others they don’t know as opposed to being judged by other people they’ve known and have relationships with. Whether those certain things are thoughts or opinions we have or anything else, it can be a mix of all of that.
