Dear younger me,

One day, you will care deeply about people.

You will spend hours trying to understand them, explain yourself to them, and make peace when misunderstandings happen.

Sometimes they will understand.

Sometimes they won't.

And no matter how hard you try, not every story will end the way you hoped.

There will be days when you cry until your eyes swell.

Days when anxiety keeps you awake all night.

Days when you question yourself over and over, wondering if you could have said something differently, done something differently, or somehow prevented the pain.

But I want you to know something.

Not every rejection means you were wrong.

Not every misunderstanding means you are a bad person.

And not every closed door is proof that you are unwanted.

One day, you will lose something that matters deeply to you.

Other people may not understand why it hurts so much.

They may say, "It's just an account."

"It's just a website."

"It's not a big deal."

But they won't see the sleepless nights.

They won't see the tears.

They won't see the panic, the overthinking, the feeling of helplessness that follows.

Only you will know how much it meant to you.

And that's okay.

Your feelings do not become less real just because someone else doesn't understand them.

Please stop being so cruel to yourself.

Please stop blaming yourself for every painful outcome.

Please stop believing that every person who walks away is proof that you are not enough.

You have survived every difficult day before this one.

You survived heartbreak.

You survived loneliness.

You survived disappointment.

And you will survive this too.

Not because you're fearless.

Not because you're strong every second.

But because even after everything, you keep going.

Even when you're exhausted.

Even when you're crying.

Even when you feel completely lost.

You keep going.

And one day, you'll look back at this moment and realize that what felt like the end was only one chapter of your story.

So breathe.

Rest when you can.

Be gentle with yourself.

The world has already been hard enough on you.

You don't need to be hard on yourself too.

I'm sorry for what you have to go through because of mine and our families actions.

Your heart will fall endlessly into a spiral of mental illness and the feeling of loneliness yet if you keep your head up.

Youll meet the love of your life. Our life he's stayed and works pretty dang hard for us.

I would tell myself to eat a burger 🍔 😋

I would also to tell myself to listen to what my heart is telling me

Feel free to be exactly who you are. The right people will find and love you.

Please stop worrying about the future. You worry about things that won't happen. God is providing for and guiding you. Trust that!
